What information we collect
When you shop with us or contact us, we may collect:

Order information: the products you buy, order value and order history.
Account information: if you create an account, your login details and saved preferences.
Communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or our contact form.
Payment information: your payment is processed securely by our payment provider we do not see or store your card or banking details.
Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use our site (through cookies and similar technologies).
Why we use your information
To process, fulfil and deliver your orders; take payment and prevent fraud; manage your account and provide support; keep you updated about your order; send marketing only if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime); meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations; and improve our website and products.
Under POPIA, we process your information to perform our contract with you (your order), with your consent (marketing), for our legitimate interests (running and improving the store), and to comply with the law.

We only share your information with trusted partners who help us run the business, and only as far as needed:
Regulators, law enforcement or professional advisors — where legally required.
Payment provider (Payfast), to process payments securely.
Courier & shipping partners (e.g. Bob Go / The Courier Guy), to deliver your order.
Email tools (e.g. Mailchimp), only if you have signed up for updates.
Hosting & analytics providers (e.g. Xneelo, Google), to run and improve the site.
We never sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information stays protected in line with POPIA.
How long we keep your information
Only as long as necessary – to fulfil your orders, provide support, and meet legal and accounting requirements (for example, tax records must be kept for a set period). When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
How we protect your information
We use appropriate security measures — including a secure (https) website and reputable payment and hosting providers — to protect your information against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take your privacy seriously.
Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to: ask what personal information we hold and request a copy; ask us to correct or update it; ask us to delete it (where we are not legally required to keep it); object to or withdraw consent for marketing at any time; and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
